I had to dismantle my 26 x 32 Union Pacific Chester Sub. This led to Howard Zane building a magnificent shelf layout I call the Twin Falls Division. It is a freelanced layout based on the James J. Hill roads of the NP , GN, SP&S, with the UP having limited trackage rights. I am putting the finishing touches on a 24 x 60 plan for the 2.0 version of this pike. I am hoping that I can enlist Howard's help with this one as well. He is, in my opinion, one of the finest modelers in our hobby as well as being one heck of a nice and interesting guy. I also worked as a conductor/ engineer and enjoy photographing trains with my Labrador retriever Sugar, whom enjoys rail-fanning more than I do. I enjoy brass model trains but I am not a collector. I have no qualms about running a $3500.00 model on my layout or cracking open a $985.00 passenger car and populating it with passengers/ people. I also enjoy golf, trapshooting, and helping with my son's athletic endeavors.
