Hello, and here is a little about me.
For starters, my real name is Tate, not Trainobsessed . I am 13 years old, and I live east of Chatham, Ontario, in a little town, which nick-name is T-ville, home to the longest parade in southern Ontario. It's been over 3 hours. Well, before I moved, from my old house, I lived right near the CPR (Canadian Pacific Railroad) tracks where trains would rumble by about once every hour. I grew fond of these powerful giant. I remember, my mom would always take my siblings and I for walks do by the train track, and when ever one flew by hauling tons of freight, the air seemed electrified. I always would freeze, and do nothing, but wave to the driver, who would almost always wave back. That was the first time I ever liked trains. My dad is a farmer, so naturally, I liked tractors, too. Around grade 4 , I suddenly liked Star Wars. I was into Lego Star Wars, and all that, but, I gave up on it, not only because I was the only person in our school who liked it, other than my little brother, but also because of a man named Dave. I’m not sure if I can name his full name, of the name of his business, so ya. Anyway, he had this mobile model train layout, that I saw several times, and I found it fascinating how the trains moved without human power, like my wooden trains, and that is what got me re-hooked on trains. Thank you Dave! I got into it by buying a $300 pre-built model railroad. This has been a great railroad, (after I worked out the kinks of age) and it now runs smoothly, but alas, there is always room for improvement. Anyway, now you are at the present date now and this is where I’m at for as far as liking trains. The other things I enjoy doing are playing the accordion, and reading Model Railroader.
