Now retired Hydropower Industry professional, 40+ years Power Generation and Irrigation management in Australia.

Caught the end of Aussie steam on film in 1970's then visited S.E. Asia, Taiwan, Japan, and USSR, Scandinavian Railways.  To follow steam of course!

Rode one of last Steam Hauled "Trans-sib" expresses in May 1974, in far east.

Later visited UK, Europe, Canada, Sth Africa - 1978 and China - 1986. Returned to Nth America across Canada Coast to Coast in 2012, then Alpine European return in 2014.
