I'm a lifelong model railroader and NMRA member of the Carolina Southern Division of the MER. I'm also a proud member of the Metrolina Model Railroaders Club.  Mostly I model On30, but I plan to build a large HO layout soon.  Although I rubber guage a great deal, I am trying to focus more on On30 and modern HO.  Scratchbuilding is what I enjoy the most as well as hand laying track.  I'm love track planning and have designed over 100 layout, many of which were built.  You may have seen my Heart of Georgia "HOG" layout! http://hogrr.blogspot.com/
