Relatively new model railroader. Currently working on my first layout; it is N scale. It's small (roughly 3.5' x 5') since time is hard to come by and I'm learning as I go along so I don't want individual steps to take forever. Using Peco 55 with Peco 55 electrofrog turnouts. Will be wiring it for DC --I don't expect to have other operators and the small layout with electrofrog turnouts means that I don't have to set up many blocks (the electrofrog turnouts work as blocks, killing power to spurs when the points are thrown to the other direction).
