Have structural engineering background and worked in engineering, project management and sales in the metal building industry. Retired at age 70 and got back into active model railroading after 55 years. I love DCC and have had the privilege of working with various systems. Due to health reasons (stairs were a problem) I had to dismantle my HO and N scale layouts in my basement and sold most of my equipment, locos and rolling stock. I'm now trying to figure out a way to have a small HO scale layout in my office on the first floor. If I can work this out I will probably use an NCE Power Cab.

I have started my HO switching layout and using a Power Cab. It works very well and I'm learning to use the throttle with one hand for most of keys commonly used for running trains. I've learned to really like this throttle.
