I have been an active model railroader since 1947. During the past half-century my major hobby interests have been building locomotives, cars and structures in several scales, mostly from scratch but with some kits. With my recent retirement (and with an end at last to frequent career-based relocations!) I have started building an O-scale railroad in the basement patterned after the late Frank Ellison's famous Delta Lines (but somewhat smaller).
