I have been model railroading since I was just a wee lad, some 47 years ago. I have tried O-27, N scale and HO and for right now sticking with HO. I currently am building an around the room switching layout using Code 83 hand laid track on hand laid ties.  I recently updated the railroad into the mid to late 80's time period. So out went the ACL Purple units and in came CSX in blue and yellow. I just completed a 6 foot peninsula that house 5 industries as I like operations more than anything else.
