I am Dutch, my name is Bob, living in south Africa. Born 17-4-'40, in Rotterdam. Presently living in Vereeniging Gauteng Province. About 80 km. south of Johannesburg. Retired after several jobs and hobbies.

My first model railroad I had in Holland when I was about 15. Trix was my first set.. I immigrated to SA. at 29 and I have nearly finished my 4th lay out, which is 25 mt2 / ( 270 ' )2 . Photography of MR came automatically with detailed lay outs. I have a Fuji finepix s700 digital camera. Often I use double pictures, one with and one without flash.

My railroad is totally free lance with SA trains, Hornby, and a variety of American trains. If i like it I buy it.

 My lay out is HO and I prefer to run it manual, DC.
