I started model railroading when I was 9, my Dad's Uncle had a nice layout in his basement and I got to go over and run a session with everyone.  Six years later I now have my own ( I have been working on it the entire time).  Dad and I have done all the work and I have learned a lot from trial and error, but it has been fun and educational.
