Been a Model Railroader since before I can remember. Started with my Dad's S-gauge stuff. After military service, switched to HO. Been building the "LeJen Valley Railroad" (a ficticious Appalachian coal-hauler in 1900) for many years, in several different locations. The railroad is named for my wife, LeFaye and daughter Jennifer. The LVR is a railroad in decline but is struggling to hang on. I love service-weary looking rolling stock and structures that appear to have nearly outlived their usefullness.
