I am a retired elementary school teacher. I taught 2nd grade for nearly 30 years. I retired a bit early, while I still had a shred of sanity. (Some of my friends will dispute that I had any sanity left.)

I'm a fan of Lionel, K-Line & Atlas locomotives. I have a number of Locos with Lionel's TMCC, and have recently added several of Lionel's Lion Chief Plus locomotives. The LCP locos are very fun and easy to operate. They're beautiful if you don't mind the less-than-optimal details. 

My layout has two main lines in a folded dog-bone pattern. There are several siding tracks and a very small yard. The mains are wired in and running reliably, but that is where I've stalled. I need to wire in the sidings and yard to make it more workable. I have a number of buildings; houses and commercial buildings. Pictures will follow at a later date.
