I'm a retired mining engineer. In the past I've worked for railroads as a contractor, most recently at Meadows Yard in South Kearny, NJ. My brother is a yardmaster, and his two brothers-in-law are a conductor and engineer, respectively,  for CSX.

These days I just teach a few geology classes at a small college.
