Hello!
I'm a thirty-six (1982) year old passenger rail advocate who lives in Upstate New York. My grandfather worked at Alco in Schenectady untill it closed, it was thru him in part that my love of trains grew. He always bought me Trains Magazine, and took me to watch the trains at the Saratoga D&H Yard.
After attending the School of Architecture & Planning at the University at Buffalo for 5-years, I developed the idea that a renewal of intercity passenger rail could help revive the fortunes of fallen Upstate cities along the Empire Corridor.
I have been working towards that end since 2006 by joining the Empire State Passenger Association and writing letters to the local newspapers and politicians.
