Career railroader living in southwest USA. 

Started with Southern Pacific (NWP Division/Santa Rosa) in electrical construction/signal maint in late 70s.

Hired out to Amtrak, '80 to mid-2000's.

On Board Services, promoted to Train Svc (AC) late 80's.  Was rules and student trip qualified

to run over all 3 roads out of Los Angeles- SF. SP, UP to the old division points back then.

7 years mgmt in HRD, developing curriculum and training new hires in

various job categories within Amtrak. Specialized in safety training.

Now retired. 4 generation railroad family with our youngest member an active Metra Condr. (CHI)

who works the "Racetrack" to Aurora.
