Got my first train set when I was 4 months old! ( Thanks, Nana!) Have been hooked ever since! ...OK I've got #2 diesel for blood...I admit it! From the Lionels around the tree to a 4x8 in the bedroom and a few "plywood centrals" in between moves, I finally found an old mobile home to build a layout in, so now I can take it with me if I move again! Born and raised in Boston, MA, an Amtrak fan since my first real train ride on the Northeast Corridor, spent plenty of time chasing B&M, Conrail, Amtrak and the MBTA. Jobs brought me to Portland, ME and Ft. Worth, TX, then to Hot Springs, AR. I love to travel, so being a truck driver is my ideal job. I've also had 10+ years as a professional photographer. So I'm always looking for roads near railroad tracks with my camera in reach! Married with 2 daughters and they can at least tolerate my hobby ( "sickness"? lol) and I try to get them involved as often as I can.
