I have been in model railroading for 40yrs. The first brass engine I seen was my dad's FEF-2 he got for Christmas. He ran it on a section of Tru-Scale and I was hooked. This is the third layout I have built, but the first to have scenery. The Blackhawk Southern/Nessie Southwestern is set in the late 50's to early 60's.The layout depicts the location where the two railroads joined after the rebuild before and during WW-1.
