Raised in Northern Colorado, in Severance. We lived right next to the beet dump, grew up watching Great Western Stream locomotives # 51, 60, 75, 90. All are still in service today. # 90 is on the Strasburg RR, # 75 is on the Heber Valley RR, # 60 is on the Black River & Western, and #51 is privately owned and stored in Erie, Colorado on the Great Western Longmont Branch. Also EMD's 61,62,61 are SW-1's, and 121, and 122 were EMD's SW-9's. Omnitrax is owner and operator of GWR now, along with other Short Lines and Switching Services around the country. My goal is to travel to all Omnitrax RR's. I still love watching and Photographing trains.
