I am a retired soldier and long time model railroad fan. I first started in HO, then gravitated to N (due to space limitations). Due to vision problems, and numerous years deployed to Germany, I moved to European style LGB with Pola buildings and home made, "Drop In" foam scenery laid on cardboard to cover the carpet at Christmas. Now I am attempting to design and build an On30 freelance railroad based upon the old Wheeling and Lake Erie Railway, set in Eastern Ohio in the mid 30's. I currently reside in the Louisville Kentucky area, and am fortunate to have 3 nice hobby shops in the area.
