I work in g-scale and standard scale, anywhere from 1:20.3 to 1:32 as far as locomotives and rolling stock go, although I am building my railroad structures and scenery based on a 1:24 scale wherever possible. I am an indoor g-scaler because I don't want to limit myself to weatherproofed everything...also I like to work all year round on my railroad, which you can't do on a garden-style railroad here in Colorado. I'm very aware that working indoor g-scale is a rarity, but I've gotten used to taking experiences from people in other scales and making them work. Currently I am rebuilding my layout in a smaller space after a move.
