I grew up in Mount Vernon, New York, which sits astride the NYNHH rail line that leads to Grand Central Station in New York City. The New Haven line ceased to exist on 1 January 1969, but this major rail corridor is alive and well as an important commuter line run by New York and Connecticut. My dream has been to recreate this line as it appeared shortly before the end. I have waited 45 years to do this, and during this time I have created accessories toward that end including the lines unique passenger rolling stock, cantenary towers and anchor bridges. This is a work in progress.
