Hello! I am a small town railroader, working on a 12/5 foot layout. I have a variety of locomotives, most of which are Rivarossi's, but there are also a mixture of Mantua's, Bachmann's (Not really useful), and some cast metal locomotives of various producers. My main focus is on the successful restoring of damaged or nonfunctional locomotives. My focus in work has led to the successful conversion of a 1969 4-8-8-4 Prototype Rivarossi Big Boy to DCC, as well as a 1976 Rivarossi 4-6-4 Dreyfus Hudson. As of now, my efforts are going into re-building my layout, as a major move recently caused me to have to take it down. My other projects include two Fleischmann locomotives which I'm nearly finished with, as well as a NOS Roundhouse/MDC 2-6-0 Kit. I mostly work with locomotives, and will enjoy any conversations regarding mechanics and locomotive operations. I am fairly excellent with moving parts and mechanics, and have yet to find a locomotive I couldn't fix or repair. What I make up for in my hands, I am not so well in my history of locomotives themselves, but I do know my way around models and their workings. I am usually occupied by my studies, and often am away without word, so my apologies in advance if I miss a message from someone. If one does have questions, please do not hesitate to ask, and I will reply as soon as possible. If there happens to be something I am not aware of, I will do my best to find out about the topic, and again, will get back as soon as I can.
Thanks Much!
