"When I was five years old my uncle who was a yardmaster for the AT&SF in Sweetwater, Texas put me on a locomotive for an hour. Combining that experience with growing up near the NYNH&H's Danbury Branch in Connecticut a future railfan was born. A photography course at age 12 led quickly to a life-long combination of the two hobbies that has culminated in having my work published in numerous books, magazines and calenders along with winning the Trains Magazine photo contest two years in a row. When not occupied with managing the computer and telephone systems for a Texas based firm, I am an e-Railsafe certified contractor as a photographer for the BNSF, UP and several area short lines. Projects have included covering the 2008 Democratic and Republican conventions for the UP and documenting the Abo Canyon double track project for the BNSF."
