I've been a life-long railfan with a primary interest in railroads in the northeast. Growing up in New York City and Long Island, I've always had an interest in the Long Island Rail Road. I've been a railroader myself for since 1997, working first as an engineer/conductor for New York & Atlantic Railway, and now as an engineer for Brookhaven Rail, a new terminal railroad on Eastern Long Island.
