I have finally retired from Building models for a living and have decided to pay homage to the man who is directly responsible for my lifelong attempts to achieve excellence in scale model building and in all the many skills I now have.  John Allen inspired me in much the same way many of us were, after reading one of the excellent model railroader articles and photo spreads of his famous Gorre & Daphetid layout in Monterey.
