Born in South Africa of English parents. Returned to England 20 year ago, married and have two little girls. When finished school did an apprenticeship with the South African Railways as a fitter on electrical traction, did 9 years with the SAR. I have also served in the South African Infantry and in the London Scottish Reg. ( British Army) I have had a model railway in some form or other since I was 8 years old. I switch from British 7mm standard gauge to On30, USA outline,two year ago. I have just completed my board constuction and have layed track for my layout in my garage. 22' X 12'single mainline two depot.
