Here is a bit of my lifes history, I was born in 1951 here in the great state of South Australia at Prospect which is a suburb of ADELAIDE. I'm married with 1 daughter who still lives at home with us. My working life was to start off in the railways when I was 15 years old as a Porter with the South Australian Railways then after 2 & 1/2 years I left the Railways to purshuse other options, but then ended up back in the Railways. This time I entered the Locomotive side of the job and eventually became a Locomotive Engineer for Australian National where I drove all types of trains from heavy freight to high speed passenger trains like the GHAN and INDIAN PACIFIC. After doing that for 23 years I made my mind up to retire at age 43. Ended up having to go back to work to live and now working as a Security Officer here in Adelaide. My modelling interests were up until a few years back were in modelling US railroads but then I changed over to Aussie modelling and it is all the trains that I have driven are in my collection from Steam to Diesels from Victorian Railways, Commonwealth Railways, Sth Australian Railways and Australian National
