Lifelong passenger rail and transit buff, beginning with being taken to visit relatives in Wisconsin on the North Western, Milwaukee, and maybe Soo, late 1940's.  Also old enough to remember riding the Chicago & West Towns to Brookfield Zoo.  Never worked in the rail industry, though I did once interview for a job with the Milwaukee.  (They didn't hire me, though I'm sure that was not the sole cause of their subsequent bankruptcy.)
