I have been in the hobby since 1939, (after the usual childhood start with Lionel). I have a home layout, the Goldfield & Hangtown RR., and have been a member of the Glendale Model Railroad Club since 1949. I am in my 80's, and layout maintenance can get to be onerous, so I intend to start my next layout at a much younger age. My main interest in the hobby is scratch-building brass steam locomotives.
