I wanted a 4-4-0 Camelback but it had to be affordable. I already had a Pemco/IHC/Mehano 4-4-0, that I had switched from oil burner to coal using an alternate part from another. It occurred to me after looking at the documentation that the boilers, fireboxes, cabs were interchangeable. All that was required was finding a Pemco/IHC/Mehano Camelback shell. I swapped the parts and Voila!
The locomotive is shown on a display case that holds some my HO scale models. No room for a layout since we relocated, not yet anyway. But you never know.
