Alaska-fying scenery

Posted by brisweed

This tender scene fits into one of the end curves on my layout. It helps to set the scene firmly in the Alaskan interior. I've had this lady in my inventory since the mid 1970's. She was originally holding a broom, but I noticed her arms and hands were in the correct position to safely hold a shotgun, so I made her one out of sheet styrene. The moose is from Neal's N Guaging Trains. The malemute is scratchbuilt out of Super Sculpey easy bake modeling clay. I use sage brush flowers with foliage added to depict aspen trees.
