This Gp7 had a long life on the Alaska Railroad. Since the Alaska Railroad was federally owned, a lot of rolling stock was obtained from the U. S. army. This geep was delivered with army surplus Alco trucks as seen in the photo. I kitbashed this model from a high nosed Atlas geep, lowering the nose and adding some details, including the huge arctic winterization hatch, wire grab irons from Blma models, and dome light.
