I know I will be introuble for this, but I have NO rail clamps NO feed wires and NO problems with reverse loops or multi train operation or any dead spots, and the power can go out and I still run trains for awhile. But its not for everyone.
OH, I forgot to say I never clean the 1,400 ft of rail heads or the engine wheels and my passenger cars stay lighted when stopped at the station and never blink. I know just shot me[;)] its a great hobby[:I][:D]

Is it REAL? or Just 1:29 scale?

Yeah, but Marty, what will you do if you can't find your key to wind-up the friction motors?!?!?!. If I was you, I would think about replacing that system with a more reliable battery powered operation!!
