I will also be different, my first G scale locomotive was the LGB 2080 Harz Railway steamer. Always loved the looks of that line. The huge 2-10-2T is on my wish list for somedsay, its WAY out of the budget for a few years. I would like to replace all the side rods on my old 2080 with the newer style more realistic ones used on the 22801 Harz steamer. Cheers MIke and Michele T

My first two were Aristos, the U25B and FA., both in NYC colors.I was in N and HO, but I couldn't resist these big diesels. Bought them at a show in Indianapolis back in '91 or '92.
They sat around as display units for over 2 years until I found Watts Trains, where I picked up some track, and later I mail-ordered some cars out of that "newly discovered" magazine, Garden Railways.
All of these have been shelved for about 8 years, but a new wife has gotten me back into my big trains, as she wants a garden RR.
And if it makes momma happy, it makes everybody happy!

mine was an original Bachmann 2-4-2 and tender, got through several drive axles as the gears kept cracking. Bachmann UK kept replacing them though and sending spares so I've kept buying Bachmann.
It has been retired now and passed to a friend so it's got a second person started as well.

When I switched from HOm to 2m the first thing I bought was a......... Krok.

RhB - layout Grischun has been "Home of the Krok" for a long time and getting a large one was a given.

At present I have 2 Ge 6/6'; 2 Ge 2/4 and a Ge 4/4". One G 4/5 on order, but not arrived yet. [;)][;)]

A USA Hudson, which was a Christmas present to myself last year. I was visting my folks and my Mother was with me at the time. She helped me pick out some 'pretty cars with lots of color' to go with the locomotive. The store (SanVal) shipped the 'set' we'd assembled to my home in GA. Chistmas morn, I discovered my consist was four reefers and a caboose. But hey, it sure is *colorful*.
