Under my tree? Well I think I did very well.

I got a Carousel

Here is the url for a VERY LOW QUALITY MPEG.

http://members.cox.net/tltrigg/HPIM0049.MPG

A Vegetable stand

Delivery vehicle for the veggies

Passenger Station

Haunted Mansion (Halloween clearance from Hallmark ~ 16 inches tall)

A pair of these (one with / one without the shown cargo.)

As well as a couple of Gift Certificates to my MOST FAVORITE Garden Supply Center. Walter Anderson's Nursery. In addition to tons of plants, garden fixtures, and such. They have a LARGE LGB layout. (1,400 ft of track) http://www.walterandersen.com/ Inside the main building they have what I believe to be the largest GRR Store in San Diego County. Lots of LGB and Aristo-Craft, Welded Steel bridges (from local artisans), Bridg-Works bridge kits etc.

Also got a pig farm, sheep farm, 9 new residents of Rosbud Falls, (one of the new residents I think I cannot disply here. Need to find a VERY secluded place on the layout to put her!!!!)

Capt. Turk,
I feel for you, but I can't quite reach you!

That work stuff does allow one to make such frivolous purchases from time to time dosen't it?[:p][:p]

If you didn't have to go to work and had nothing to do but play with trains, you'd soon lose interest.[:0]

Ain't it a *** going to the poorhouse with a loaf of bread under each arm?[^]

Wait til you're retarded ( er - retired) and see what happens.[;)][;)]

I got two Bachmann 45 tonners.

Problem is that I had to go to sea the 23rd, and spent Christmas and New Year out to sea and won't get home to see, or run them, till the second week in Feb., I hope!
This working balogna sure gets in the way of playing with trains.

BTW I got a USA GP -7 (9) for christmas from the wife---I've been toying with the idea of getting into #1 scale for a few years but never made the leap. My wife wanted to see what my face looked like on a kid at christmas-she saw it on my face. Now I've been reading this forum like mad to figure out what I'm gonna do -have to build a place to run it :)

No trains, I did pick up a battery powered Scientific set so the visiting kids could play on the outdoor layout, only to have the festivities relocated to another relatives home, so now I have that lemon laying around, and I did pick up a Buddy L set on clearance blowout at the beginning of the month, but I'm beginning to regret that purchase as its going to be a major project just to get the turkey to run without the tender like I want it to. Oh Well.

For Xmas....Some cloths, about the only "fun" thing I got was DVD sets of Benny Hill and the TV series "Firefly" which I'm finding surprisingly enjoyable.

Right now I'd just be happy to finish a few projects...

   Have fun with your trains

Well, I know him, but not well. I planned to go to his open house, but was not able to make it. From what I heard from the guys, it was quite a collection. He lives near my cousins.

TMCC Man-
You should go to www.lgb.com and click on the club logo. It has all the info there that you will need to sign up. I will stop and say "Hi" during the York show. I would like to check into joining the SEPGRS.

Keith-
I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the "special" products that will be available at the Jubilee celebration.

Jack, how much is the LGB club per year? Also, when at York, I will be at a module group, SEPGRS, and I will walk arond in the dealer section. Oh, do not worry about the Arb, just come in the spring if you can or even the summer.

My big prezzie arrived a few days before Christmas - the Brawa RhB 2-8-0 steam loco (with digital sound etc.) plus 4 matching RhB 2-axle coaches. Would like to have got the LGB RhB 2-6-0T steam loco but LGB did not make a sound version[:(][:(] - maybe they will do a sound version in 2006.

Most of my stuff is LGB so I've recently signed-up for the new LGB Club. Have also signed-up for a weekend trip to the LGB Birthday Celebrations in Nuremburg (it's a short hop on Air Berlin from London Stanstead to Nuremburg!!) in July 2006......just a few days before my own birthday so hope that LGB will have something good available to buy for my own birthday present[;)]

Yeah, I was thinking of going, but I still do not know about it. I know my grandfather might be heading back to see his friends, one who happens to live near the factory. I should be going to York, and willl have my F7s, actually all of my stuff with me. Everyting I have has sound except for 2 things, the LGB Chloe engine, and the LGB 0 4 0 Porter, but it has MTS. Jack, another thing, if you can, the Morris Arboreutum, in Chestnut Hill, PA, has a garden railway display that I helped re build. You should stop by, and I think I will go today, if not tomorrow. If you bring the Genesis, or another loco, I think i could run it for you. It closes tomorrow, until spring.

I have an area in the back yard that is about 25 x 30 that is constantly changing to fit my needs (do a lot of testing and general messing about! ).
Haven't had a permanent "O" layout for a couple of years now although I do have a lot of O gauge equipment.
I'll be attending the East Coast Large Scale Show in York (working) and probably will go to the TCA show as a civilian. I will absolutely be in Nurnberg in July- wouldn't miss it for the world! Actually I'll be working but I'd still go even if it wasn't required.
Are you thinking about going to the 125th celebration? It's going to be a heck of a party!

Jack, that is a really cool photo, Big Brother, and Little brother. Chris is one of the nicest guys I have met, and so is Rob, as well as Joe. Chris has a shore house about 10 houses down from me. I cannot wait until the cars come out for it. What are the dimensions of your permanent layout for your G if you have one, and how much O gauge do you have? I have a nice sized O gauge layout, and have 2 TMCC diesels. Now, I have moved further from O and more into G. Also, are you going to the 125 LGB Anniversary in Numberg I believe? My mom was born there, and also will you be at York? I am going to York.

Wow! I'm glad to hear that people are buying the Genesis locos two at a time!
Nicholas Smith's is my store of choice as well. Great store- Chris is a really nice guy.

I run a lot of different types and brands of trains. As you can see in the photos I run O gauge under the tree every Christmas. I haven't had any problems with my MTH locos or the DCS system. I like it alot. I run Lionel TMCC as well. I've owned Lionel products for as long as I can remember.
I do have an obvious G gauge favorite though ;)

Here's a pic of "O" and "G" together:

here are some pics of the stuff I have, but not all of my collection. Aguy came into Nicholas Smith trains today, and buys not 1 but 2 LGB Genesis engines. I was amazed when he did that, but I will buy mine when the cars come out for it.

Hey Jack, what O gauge do you have? I know you were with MTH, do you have DCS and that other stuff from MTH? I have realtrax, but I have not had any luck the MTH engines. I have all Lionel TMCC.
