do some detailed photos and a news chopper above the accident.

just idea. If my wife's friend from work brings her two boys over again and I have to leave the yard for something I wont have to stage anything if you catch my drift.

Toad,

When my grandson comes out the first thing he wants is either to watch his Thomas videos or fire-up his Lionel Thomas sets. Grampa enjoys the Thomas stuff but Barney is nausiating.

I've been busy making a movie of the C.J.and M. . Now all I have to do is find the software for my JVC camera and then figure out how to post it to Photobucket . Stay tuned .

Mike

Don't even use the king word for me, its folks like you and some of our club members that keep me going. This past week I had two buds drop by at different times and that encouraged me.

One is just starting his first G, the other has about a 1 year old RR. They are the ones with the energy.  I love watching folks with fresh ideas and a desire to share the hobby.

Matter of fact if you knew what I was am finally doing you'd think I'm nuts . can't say what yet.

Think 40-52 above sea level. Galveston has a dike along with Angleton and Texas City dikes.

Holding well, no real good rain. Just quick showers if we get one!!!! Toad

You're what, 40 miles from the coast?  What is your elevation above sea level?  You sure your high enough to avoid the "big wave".

I'm 14 miles from the Pacific, but almost 300 foot above sea level, so I'll miss the big wave, if it ever comes.

How you holding up with the hurricane ? Hope everything is okay . I'll see about the accident scene . Maybe a steam train coming out of a tunnel like the one on the Mullen pass .

Marty , around here you are like the king of garden railways . When I tell my wife Marty made some comment about one of our posts she says "Marty Cozad?". This smoke thing was off the cuff idea and once I saw the pictures I said "Humm....this might be a prop worth persuing." I am chuckling about the humble part as I write this. Thanks . Toad I asked my son about the smoke machine and he found it for me . I'm putting the smoke bombs back in the suitcase in the basement .

Mike

I think its great when you bring the RR to life.  Any one else I would not have said anything, but I'm tring to help you stay HUMBLE.

I have a photo someplace where I placed a smoke boom inside a tunnel and the loco looked like it was heavy smoke coming out of the tunnel. but I burned a spot on the loco also.

Later I did it again and nothing happened, I realized the breeze changed and the smoke went out the other end.

Believe me, I'm harder on myself than anyone.

Ok, now you make me pull out the gags.

1) rubber snakes in his bed (only once, gets old)

2) rubber rat under on dash board

3) color his windows all white (can find these in the fun section)

4) let all the air out of his tires (talk about ***)

5) pull the needle stems next

6) take all his undies and box them up (hide them)

7) if your really fealn frisky, jack his car up and take all tires off then put them on blocks before he wanted to go on a date

8) suck his gas out of his tank (free gas!)

9) pull major fuse on fuse panel inside engine

10) or go buy a new one!

11) never let him get one of your things and tell him cause he did not return it.

Those are words to live by toad . I've already tried #1 and #2 , forget #3 and #4 cuz he's much larger and younger than me and as far as #5 do you think a blue smoke bomb will do the trick ? And I hate Mikey ! Have to go back to work so i'll look for your reply later .

Oh man, have to start calling you Mikey....

Ok, here is how to get it back.

1) ask nicely

2) ask if he screwed it up and did not happen to say

3) start choking him cause when I did DJ I made $$$ (thinking about going back in)

4) apply more choking pressure causeing him to jar his brain

5) if none of the above work let him know you have a fire cracker and he better not sleep on his stomach.

This should free up you old toy so you now can play with it.
