It is a LGB tank car. Said something about Bever Route or something like that.

John,

Really there is no plan. I was a bird feeder I found at Hobby Lobby.

Took the center out and cut the rope and that is what you see now. Needs more thou to it like shingles and caping some holes. Cut one side or both and place stares on it to walk up on.

But yeah it is about G gauge! I guess I could make plans with what it's scale is on if need be!

LGB figure by it.

Make sure you seal the wood well, I got a pair of feeders like that only prepainted, they didnt last a year before they were spliting up and falling apart, so much for "outdoor use"

Vic going to use Thompsons water seal on all. Dunk for about 24 hours each in bucket. Even the stained ones!!! Just don't trust any wood out side to the weather day in and day out because it takes "US" to long to build or get money to buy a product (bird feeder 7.99) to just rot.

I could use the plastic sign boards more cause I have abunch of them from my landscaping biz and I will use when I get going on the Station and other projects.

Toad,

Great job! I use Thompson waterseal on ties, structures and my deck. Stains are definitely the way to go

Remembr to paint or stain first, THEN seal. I used Thompson's on a cedar swing set and then tried varnishing it later. The varnish peeled of in less than a year. I tried solvents, power washing, etc but could never get the sealer out of the wood and therefore could never get a decent topcoat on the wood.
