I grew up in Athens Ohio, but would always go over to Marietta to the Sternwheeler festival with my family.  There was a kid there for a couple of years that always had this little paddleboat made out of popcicle sticks.  The paddlewheel was powerered with a little battery powered motor, and it would paddle out from shore for a while, then he would pull it back in with a string tied to it.  I thought that was the coolest thing.  That was a long time ago...

Raymans, Thanks for the heads-up! I found the model A for sale through diecastdirect.com for $34.95. But it is temporarily out of stock.Sign - Oops [#oops] Ya still did good for 50.00. Some of the Matchbox Harley trucks I missed out on ran that much. Thanks to Spankybird for helping me locate them as well!!!

Here are 4 K-Line club engines. Three of the four were defective. Mine was the only one that ran out of the box. Now after two EOB drop in boards and an adjustment on a sound board they all run good.
