Your welcomed anytime your down this way and bring some trains if there's anything I can help with let me know. Did you ever get the email?
Gary
Reggie you say all I have is 23x43 train room that huge. My layout is just a plain one. Yours on the other hand is already alot cooler than mine.
RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.
Thanks for the comment on the webpage, Gary! I think you're the only one who ever went there! I ran out of room for pictures on my account, so I need to upgrade to more space or get a different provider or edit my old stuff out. Don't want to spend train and dvd money on it though....
Reggie, you have a really nice layout coming along too. I'm getting ready to build my 3rd layout (1 and 2 are already history) and I have only about 9 ft by 8.5 ft area - probably do a big donut and sit in the middle!

sorry to hear that about your mom. man i wish i had that type of space and the 5 acres. all i have is 23x43 train room and a 1/2 acre that my house sits on. you know there's always someone in this world that has more than you. i always known that but just to see it and here it. it's another thing. when you get all up and running i would love to take a vacation and come and see it for myself. also would you let me bring some of my trains to run.
2 more rooms. now you really got me wanting to see the rest of the layout
Yes Reggie that's what I'm doing now but not to often with 4 trains running I have a hard enough time keeping up with them now just letting them go round & around when I get some more money I'll buy some more switches and add them. I have two more rooms I'm going to go into when I can get more track.
You can't see it all on here.

i noticed in your plan that you only have one intersection going from mainline to mainline, and that means if you want to go from mainline to mainline and the train is going in one direction you might have to pull the train up far enough then back the train through the switch which is a potential for derailment and your trains can only get to different lines in one direction. just thought i would mention that to you, not to say you haven't thought about it yet. just a pointer from me.

I'll have to start looking for them, they would go good with lumber yard & sawmill. I'll keep checking back for updates on the layout.Reggie I've been watching your progress since you started and there's nothing I can say but WOW and I mean that. Yes I made the bridges, roads, grain & feed, lumber yard, station platform, loading dock, mountain, most of the new stuff the other building I had from back in the 70'es . Too bad you don't live closer you could use my work shop to make anything you wanted too for your great layout. Thanks guys for your support. Gary

Nice photos - I see you are using the most venerable and time-proven of all track systems to boot.
That's the cherry on the sundae.

Unlike Chuck or Zeke, I like both. But fastrack is my favorite.
Anybody heard of fastrack's price reduction? $2.00 now.
