I watched Sopranos for first time last week. I thought it was a choir group or something but found out they are mafia. Didn't see any toy trains but missed seeing it this week. The people in the show seem somewhat dysfunctional

otftch - I can...the "BING".

I thought it was cool how they were using the layout to lead up to the massacre.  Anyone catch the little O-scale figure with it's hand over it's mouth Shock [:O]?

I've been hooked on the Sopranos since season 1, episode 1.  Last nights episode was clearly the best episode in the past two seasons.  Last nights episode reminded me more of the earlier seasons.  I can only imagine that next weeks episode will also be an action packed, suspense to the end show.

As soon as Bobby walked into that train shop I knew what was going to happen.

We ran a short piece of the layout's construction in our September 06 issue.

trainsandmusic - the toy trains are tied in with the character Bobby Bacala.  If you can see a rebroadcast on HBO of this week's episode you'll see what all the fuss is about.  The only other episode I can remember was either the beginning of last season or the season before (the episode where Uncle Jr shoots Tony).  There is a garage scene where Bobby is playing with his new layout.

I saw one at a show back in December for $2500. It looked brand new. I thought it was a repro. I passed on it. But then again, I have a history of passing on good deals! Wink [;)]

Someone said his wife set up the hit on Bobby because he was about to pay $8,000 for the Blue Comet

I'm really scared to say what I think. I don't want to wake up with a horse head in my bed.

Never watched the show and did not know there was a train guy. Was trains pretty prominant on the show? If so I will have to rent some dvds. Yes I will watch a show just for trains. Can anyone recomend which seasons and/or dvd volumes to rent to see the most trains?

Tony should have "axed" the gray headed *** long ago.  Now he has to hide.  He'll get him in the end.

Just got done watchin the SOPRANOs.  Great TRAIN SHOP scene but or " LOCO HOMO" got taken out.  Yes BIG BOBBY is gone. they shot him about 8 times landed on the layout and looked like a NYC Hudson crashed right on top of him.  RIP BOBBY.  Pretty good show though.
