Someone said his wife set up the hit on Bobby because he was about to pay $8,000 for the Blue Comet
I saw one at a show back in December for $2500. It looked brand new. I thought it was a repro. I passed on it. But then again, I have a history of passing on good deals!

I've been hooked on the Sopranos since season 1, episode 1. Last nights episode was clearly the best episode in the past two seasons. Last nights episode reminded me more of the earlier seasons. I can only imagine that next weeks episode will also be an action packed, suspense to the end show.
As soon as Bobby walked into that train shop I knew what was going to happen.

otftch - I can...the "BING".
I thought it was cool how they were using the layout to lead up to the massacre. Anyone catch the little O-scale figure with it's hand over it's mouth ?

If it was an O scale horse head, would you notice it was there????
Have fun with your trains

Notice that Tony Soprano was the only one going to talk over his problems with a psychiatrist. They all needed mental and emotional help in their own special ways.
Who gets the Bobby Soprano layout now that the show is done filming? Does it go back to the layout builders?

It was a Santa Fe FT not and F3. The FT was pulling the El Capitan set. The other loco was a UP Berkshire.
Watched it again on Comcast on demand last night. Still a great train scene, although I don't think the BLUE COMET is mint after BOBBY B got shot, went down with him.
lol
I checked the Trainworld/Trainland web site as the Trainworld store in Brooklyn which I have been to is under the "el" portion of the F line (Ditmas stop). There are no O guage layouts in the Brooklyn store (At least not in January when I was there - did have a G guage layout). The site they used must have been the Trainland store in Lynbrook.
The Trainworld web site has this:
"BOBBY BACCALA BOUGHT IT IN TRAIN LAND "
This is great.

HBO has halted that unauthorized showing of copyrighted content on YOU TUBE.
Hermann Goering was a big (in more ways than one) O-gauge toy-train lover.

If the hobby can survive that, it can survive the Sopranos;-)

While limited in Lionel knowledge he discribes a Santa Fe F3 set and Hudson loco. If this is true I am a little scared. That is what I am currently running, and I am Italian. I hope I have no enimies.

BTW, I just read on another forum that Kenny Bianco has the "Blue Comet" filmed in that episode.. Something about the boxes being autographed. For those of you with extra disposable income.. Hey, you never know
