Have you seen the section on the Lionel website about the custom painted train set service?
I like the idea of getting a set mass produced in a scheme that is long overdue.
It would take a small business loan to pay for the minimum 500 sets.
Licencing of the roadname or company name will have done.
There must be an advertisement in Classic Toy Trains to make sure it sells.
Then the order might need to visit some train shows if there are set left over from the minimum 500.
It would have to be a scheme much desired that Lionel has overlooked.
What individuals would be able to pull off those sales sucessfully?
Why do we not see these Lionel sets offered by the big train stores in the Northeast in the overlooked Northeast schemes?
