I think MTH may follow the "expansion - add-on" set idea like Lionel has been offering. I could see them offer this set with the John Holmes and Ron Jeremy editions.

Thanks for posting this Frank.  While I didn't think I wanted one, now I know I don't.  I have never seen the commercial, so perhaps with the commercial and if you really like Coors, then you may want one.  Lacking these, it has no appeal to me.  What is with that wheel configuration anyway?

Saw it demo'd at YORK.  It really is pretty cool, especially when the doors open and see the blue glow and the smoke come out, a real hoot.  The only thing I didn't like was that stupid song it played, I think Love Train.

Like Laz, I saw it demo'd at York and I was just blown away with the number of folks signing up to order one, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I might have one someday just as a novelty but at this point I don't need any more trains (glad my wife doesn't read this site). We are saving our money for a major trip within the next 18 months so trains are just not as important at this point, at least this week :) Plus, Coors has to be some of the worst beer in the world.

Really. If I understood right, the whole reason that MTH made this train was because they got REQUESTS for it!! Of all of the trains in TV commercials I've seen, this would have been the last one I'd choose to make a model of. What sounds better to me is a Norfolk Southern set with an Evolution locomotive, stack cars, an intermodal truck, and a remote controlled tree that grasps the containers from the semi truck and transferrs them to the train .
