Congrats to Roger Carp for his Letter to the Editor of "American Heritage" magazine. The last issue had a great feature on Lionel's history. Roger, obviously possessing a good PR sense, wrote a nice letter in the current issue that gave further exposure to the hobby. From one PR professional to another: nice work!

Welcome to the Forum!  It was good of you to notice the letter to the editor as well.  Roger does a lot of work to promote the hobby, and it is good to see some of the efforts pay off.  I have been a subscriber to AH for a long, long time and I have most of the issues prior to when I started to get it as well.  It certainly has changed over the years, but I guess the most remarkable accomplishment is that a magazine of history still exists.
