Can anyone tell me the process used for applying signage to the side of a building then weathering it to give it that faded weathered look?.....thx.....tom.

If you use decals (I like Micro Scale and the solutions they offer) and then pick at the edges with a modelling knife you can make them appear frayed.Then use a wash of thinned paint the same color of the building over the decal and running down from the sign.Also use a little of the colors on the sign and run it very lightly downward also it should look pretty convincing. I have used this method to weather airplanes and it works well.
