What started out as a simple, but sincere appreciation of the folks on the forum, and how they (you all) have helped ME, certainly has gotton legs. (I thought for sure it would disappear within 24 hrs, dependent upon activity, totally surprised.
Since some extended appreciation has been spoken of, it is only right that I mention the consideration my wife has provided. Not only has she encouraged me and the activities including the expenditures we (me) have made over the past 12 months. But was instramental in the decision of going to York this spring. She really encouraged it, especially after I let her read a couple of emails I had received from John Furllerton. (Christmas included "mad" money for York, the new MTH UP 4000CW, and a track cleaning car.) Wow !!!
Also, I want to mention the customer service that John of Electric RR, provided to me. Last week when I was having so many difficulties, I think I may have caused a problem with the sound sytem I had installed in two Beeps. Both had been running fine, then in the midst of the problems I had put one on the track to test TMCC out and had some problems. (The engine would respond forward and back, but intermittent sound at best. Same exact situation with both Beeps. I put on some other equipment and they were fine.) Anyway I tried reprogramming them, no avail, still no sound. So I called Electric RR for any suggestion as to what to try. Again BOTH Beeps with the same problem at the same time! John suggested a couple of items, still no benefit. So he said he thought it was possibly a speaker, (this was on Friday), he said he would send a couple to see if that corrects it, and if not THEN send the Beeps to him. THE SPEAKERS ARRIVED TODAY! Talk about service, how good could it get? He certainly didn't have to respond in that fashion. I'm really impressed!

oops..........I almost forgot to Thank , the beautiful, YOUNG, wife of mine, for the Bridge ( 100 Year ), for Christmas, and the Williams Jersey Central Trainmaster, for retirement. She has been a great supporter of my Trains Hobby. And she has promised me a sound system for my Birthday. Now, to decide which engine to put it in.

I just want to say that I enjoy dropping in and reading the posts, and learning a lot from all the experienced people here. I don't get to the forum that often, but have gotten a lot from it, especially the folks from my old hometown of Baltimore (GO RAVENS!!!). Buckeye, you and I had a couple of convos last year about your years in B-more. I went to POLY in the 80's well after its move to Falls Road.
I have found that this forum is one of the most civil, welcoming, and friendly places on the net. Can't say that about much anymore (the net or otherwise). So for that I say THANKS too.
