MTH layoffs
Posted by KeithL on Wednesday, May 23, 2001 9:58 AM
Jim Schulz,

I've heard reports of significant layoffs at MTH--from 25 to upwards of 40 employees out of a total employee population of about 100. IF--and I repeat, "IF"--true, this would be an extremely important development at one of the major players in the toy train industry. This is a potentially highly newsworthy story, and I think that many of us would appreciate it if trains.com (and Classic Toy Trains) would investigate this and report the FACTS. (I'm sure that MTH's status as one of your largest advertisers will not prevent you from addressing this, as it surely concerns your readership's involvement and investment in the toy train hobby.)

Thanks...and keep up the great work!
