"turbocharger"
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, November 18, 2006 3:20 PM
Hi, i am wondering if anyone has any ideas for increasing a lionel train's max speed without pumping in 20 volts.... I am wondering if there are capacitor-driven motors that can run short times on a seperate motor inside a train; almost as a turbo/boost. The reason: I have one layout that hauls a massive amount of cars up a 30 degree slope, and doesnt always make it (lol)...Any ideas?

Do you use the rack for a center rail?
