JELECTRIC, I agree with you alot of that stuff in the members halls is JUNK. It is all out dated and too much. Now I'm not dising anyone that likes that stuff, but when someone has a big price tag on an engine that is from a decent starter set and want $150 for it well you just keep on walken. Right or wrong my 2 cents.

Unless you are a true postwar collector and the item is mint in original box it is probably way overpriced. Even at that, the MOB stuff has some outrageous prices on a lot of it. The collector market is fading away, slowly but surely, as the hobby is now operator orientated and folk want the new stuff with all the whistles and bells. IMHO
All Lionel all the time.

Someone told me it had curtains instead of doors, whatever that means..???.. I was also told the delivery contract for Legacy to Lionel was October 31st and the Big Boy would come first with a certificate for a Legacy, expected on the shelves in first or second quarter of 2007...
Like everything else you hear at York this may or may not be true.
