Train Watch Springfield, Missouri
Posted by trainbrain on Tuesday, September 26, 2006 7:54 PM

We brought our son to college in August in Springfield, Mo. and we found this great place to watch the BNSF RR (hope I don't have to pay a royalty!).  It's the Jefferson Ave bridge, made for train watching  and crossing  over the huge yard and BUSY dbl track mainline.  Sorry the pix weren't better.  We were just goofin with the camera.amera.

Only by the grace of God go I.

Really good photos of a train yard.  Just wish that there were more train yards to go see today.

There is a small train yard near NW 36th street in Miami FL but is not that photo friendly far as I know because there are no pedestrian walkways over the tracks.
